About this page
Sample pages are posted here to review latest visual design changes from Phoenix Studios. Images are in the subdir /images and .CSS files are in the root that can be used in production (after testing of course).

These pages have all the "not implemented" tags stripped and are non-functional examples that illustrate a final production "look an feel.."

These pages can be considered a "living" design specification as well a display of ideas under development.

- NEW - Theme production...

During the last review it became clear that a skin-able application would make for a more robust implementation of Office Scheduler, and that work was actually already progress but now just ready for prime time; see these roughs below for a taste of how skins might look:

Earthy Wine Theme

Big Baby Blue Theme

Each theme takes about 4 hours to produce now, but I am working with compiled myFaces gorp, which makes it tedious and slow.

Issues:

  1. So far these skins are working in FireFox Only!
  2. MyFaces stock .css files makes it very difficult to extract the colors from the positioning style elements, so preparing new ones is a bit of work.
  3. Suggest researching a sandbox entry on the MyFaces site for possible implementation of skins.

Current Questions/Issues/Bugs/Ideas...

  1. The mini-Calendar on the right needs (visual) work. I recommend implementing the Tomahawk Pop-Up version with styling by Phoenix:)
  2. Borders: this design does not use them as indicators so .css needs cleaning to reset all borders within the scheduler frame to white 1px.
  3. The monthly view is filling the page at a different width then other pages. Not sure why. Can't find the .CSS for the very top level container: class="outerContainer"
  4. Online help framework added! Approx. time value=40hrs of work to complete. See this click on all schedule pages for more information -
  5. -IE 7 (and perhaps 6) is not stringing the miniCons row correctly. I think this is a known browser bug and can be corrected...researching...but all other browsers know to man, woman, and dog seem to work just fine.
